CERTIFICATIONS IN AHA
AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver Instructor-led training is conducted in a classroom setting and features group interaction and hands-on coaching and feedback from an AHA Instructor.
CERTIFICATIONS IN NAEMT
The course combines the principles of PHTLS and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), the training provided to military medics by all branches of our Armed Services. Course participants will learn life-saving medical actions such as bleeding control with a tourniquet, bleeding control with gauze packs or topical hemostatic agents, and opening an airway to allow a casualty to breathe.

ABOUT THOMAS TOPHAM
Between my military experience and being an Emergency Medical Technician, I have 45 years of emergency medicine experience.
I am retired Chief Warrant officer with 24 years of military experience. I have been a Nationally Registered Paramedic for 21 years. American Heart Association Instructor for 10 years. I am certified to instruct: Heartsaver CPR and AED, BLS Provider, ACLS For Experienced Provider, PALS. I am certified to teach Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR instructor with Pro Pet Hero. I am Canine BLS and ALS certified from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine.
At Topham Emergency Medical Education students will receive a blend of classroom lecture and practical hands on skills.
All we ask is that the student have a commitment to learn.

in Metrowest and on Cape Cod.
